Seat Guidelines

The second help in aligning the webbing is to tape a guide string across the seat from front to back. Carefully determine the center of the seat and the exact front-to-back line. Then put a guide string between the front and back rails, under the area to be webbed. You can hold the string in place with thumb tacks or masking tape.

By using the guidelines on the pattern, you guarantee that the webbing will be cut straight. When you place the webbing over the opening, align it with the guide string, assuring a perfect front-to-back alignment.
