Rail And Post Construction

Rail and post is the descriptive title for the type of construction that requires upright legs with connecting rails. Typical applications of this are for chairs and tables, where the four legs are connected at the top by rails and sometimes also by stretchers half-way down the legs (see Fig 3.3).
