To shape the convex curve, set the blade at an angle. Make successive rip cuts, adjusting the blade angle each time. For stability, be sure to use a tall auxiliary fence.

Cut the concave section first. Mark the profile on the end of the workpiece. Next, adjust the blade height and angle of the workpiece to match that profile. Clamp a fence to the table at the correct angle, lower the blade completely, and then raise it Vie in. per pass.

Flat rear bracket dovetailed into ogee section

Submolding,

Sides, % in. thick by IOV4 in. wide by 44V2 in. long

Adjustable shelf, 3A in. thick by 9Ve in. wide by 28V2 in. long, has bullnose profile on front.

Face-frame stiles and bottom rail, 3A in. thick by IV4 in. wide

Bracket feet frame, 3A in. thick by 3 in. wide, screws to filler frame.

Bottom, 3A in. thick by 9Ve in. wide by 293A in. long

Filler frame, 3/4-in.-thick, screws to case bottom

To allow for wood movement, glue front half of molding only.

Dovetail, Vs in. long

Slotted screw hole at back

Top, 3A in. thick by

50V4 in.

Glue Blocks Bracket Feet
Attach the feet Miter each section and glue the halves to each other, then the whole foot to the bottom of the case. Add glue blocks as reinforcement.
