If you plan to build the chest of drawers shown on page 4, you'll eventually want to build a night stand to go with it. But that's not such a bad deal, at least from a woodworking standpoint.
In fact, you may want to build the night stand first—it makes an excellent warm-up project for the chest of drawers. It has all the design features of the chest, but in a smaller scale.
The basic cabinet is built exactly the same way as the chest, except it has only two web frames (one above and one below the drawers). And of course, there's only one drawer to build which makes things a lot easier.
